What’s this got to do with art? Everything! I turned to art to get out of my head. In this process I found I could leave the pain behind, even if it was only for the short time I could manage to stay upright. As the illness dragged on the artwork improved. I work in mixed media as there is something about the touch and sensory factors that calm the brain. Creating from my pain has given me light, a purpose and I have developed a deep passion for creating. My journey has only just begun. Thank you for taking time to explore my creative world.
